Under the EP’s theme of ‘Music and Love’ and ‘The night awakening human sensibilities’, the six tracks tell various stories of love and life; The EP includes pre-released single, ‘Midnight’ and the lead single ‘Beautiful Night’.
‘Midnight’, the track that put a unique twist to current K-POP scene’s trend, generated explosive reaction from the fans upon its release. Compared to ‘Midnight’, which sings about a heartbroken guy suffering from sleepless night, ‘Beautiful Night’, the lead single, is a powerful electro-synth pop track that redefines Beast’s image.
‘Beautiful Night’ was brought into life by covering broad musical spectrum and fusing Beast’s confidence in music. Six distinctive voices of the six members leave not a single dull moment for listeners.
Besides the two tracks mentioned above, ‘Wasn’t Me’ and ‘Your Day Off’ present listeners the enjoyment of listening to lyrics. Moreover, an ensemble of funky melody and lyrics is a simple fun fest to one’s ears.
In addition, Beast’s signature slow ballads ‘When I miss you’ and ‘Dream Girl’ provide a comfort to ears and put your ears to rest from upbeat sounds. Once again, vocal performances on these two tracks prove that Beast is more than a manufactured boy band.
After being awarded as the group of the year in 2011 and success completion of the world tour in 2012, Beast has put their best effort to deliver the outstanding final products which will satisfy the public. Now the wait is over and all there left to do is to enjoy their music.
