BEAST -Japan Premium Edition- is BEAST's first Japanese album. The release compiles the group' first two Korean mini-albums, BEAST is the B2ST and Shock Of The New Era. It was released in two editions (each one with a different title), BEAST - Japan Edition, a regular 2CD, and BEAST - Japan Premium Edition, a limited 2CD+DVD edition. Both editions come with a random photocard (1 of 6) and a poster.

"Shock" is a song by the South Korean boy group Beast. It's the first single from their second EP "Shock of the New Era" which was released on March 1, 2010 along with the EP. The song introduced a new genre called Rocktronic, which is a combination of rock and electronic music.

A Japanese version was released on March 16, 2011 which serves as their debut single in Japan. It ranked #2 in the Oricon daily and weekly chart with 28,532 copies sold in the first week, beating the debut single of Big Bang's “My Heaven” at no. 3 in 2009.

2^nd Single Album: BAD GIRL

"BAD GIRL" is BEAST's second Japanese single. The title track was released two years earlier in Korean on their second Korean mini-album BEAST is the B2ST, as the first lead track for it.

The single was released in four editions, three limited CD+DVD editions and one regular CD Only edition. Limited Edition A edition includes a 32-page photobook and regular edition comes with a trading card.

Each edition of the single features different B-sides, all of them being new remixes of their Korean songs (except for "Easy"). Limited Edition A includes a remix of "Mystery" and their second Korean digital single "Easy"; Limited Edition B includes a remix of "Bad Girl"; Limited Edition C edition includes a remix of "Special" and Regular Edition includes a remix of "SHOCK".

"So Beast" is the first Japanese album from the South Korean boy group Beast. It was released in Japan on August 10, 2011 in 3 formats: A CD+DVD A coming with DVD, 72-page photobook, 22-page lyric booklet and comes in a digipak with a sleeve over it, CD+DVD B comes with a DVD with different contents and a 32-page photobook and CD only just featuring a lyric booklet and its CD. It contain 12 tracks, some tracks in Korean and some tracks are Japanese versions from their previously released albums. It ranked no. 3 in Oricon's Weekly albums chart with 50,819 copies sold in the first week.

3rd Single Album: Midnight -Hoshi wo Kazoeru Yoru- (星を数える夜)

Two weeks after announcing the Japanese release of the EP Midnight Sun, on September 23, Far Eastern Tribe Records, Japanese label of the group, announced that a Japanese re-recorded version of the song "Midnight" will be used as the group's third Japanese single.

The single was released in October 17, 2012 in ten different editions: 3 limited CD+DVD, a regular edition and six special solo covers edition. All CD+DVD editions comes with different features, Type A comes with the live special "2011.06.22 Beast Night" Vol. 1 and Vol. 3, Type B comes with the Vol. 2 and Vol. 4 and Type C with the music video of "Midnight" and its making-of video. The regular edition comes with the CD single itself and a special solo covers version comes with only "Midnight" on the single and with six different jacket covers of every member on them. The CD+DVD and regular editions also include a special random trading card, CD+DVD Type A will include a card of Doo-joon or Dong-woon, CD+DVD Type B will include a card of Gi-kwang or Jun-hyung, CD+DVD Type C will include a card of Yo-seob or Hyun-seung and Regular edition a collective card of the members, 1 random from 3 different types. The b-side of the single, a Japanese version of "Biga Oneun Naren", was released the same way as "Midnight" in South Korea, one week after the album's release.

BEAST WORKS 2009-2013

BEAST WORKS 2009-2013 is BEAST's first Japanese best album. It was released in three editions: two limited 2CD versions and one regular CD Only edition. Both 2CD editions came with a 12 page photo booklet (size difference between the editions, same photo) while the CD Only edition came with a 4 page photo booklet (different photo than 2CD editions).
