1st Japanese Single: U/TWINS
Release Date: 2008.07.09

"U / TWINS" is Super Junior's first Japanese single. It was released to commemorate their first Japan fan-meeting at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo. The single is the first Korean single to be listed in the top 10 of Japan's Oricon Weekly Chart. "U [Japanese version]" was only included in the limited version of the single as a bonus track. The limited version was released for free to fans who attended the fanmeeting.

The single reached #8 on the Oricon charts, and charted for 2 weeks.

[Super Junior-T] 1st Japanese Single: Rock & Go

"Rock & Go", also known as "65" (in Japanese language represents Japanese terms for numbers six (roku) and five (go)), is Super Junior-T's second single and first Japanese CD single. The single features Japanese comedic duo Moeyan. "Rock & Go" also marks Moeyan's first musical debut.

"Rock & Go" is the Japanese version of "Rokkugo", and was released in Japan on November 5, 2008. The single debuted at #19 on the Oricon Daily Charts and jumped to #2 three days later.

The single peaked at number fourteen in the Oricon Weekly Albums Chart and charted for two weeks.

The Japanese version of the EP contains Japanese versions of "Perfection" and "Destiny". It was released August 24, 2011 under Avex Trax in Japan and sold 16,000 units on its first week of release in the country, debuting and peaking at #5 in the Oricon charts. This version of the album has a different cover. It sold approximately 20,000 copies in Japan, charting for four weeks in the Oricon Weekly Albums Chart.

3rd Japanese Single: BONAMANA
Release Date: 2011.06.08

On April 25, 2011, it was announced that the single is going to be re-released into a Japanese version and that it will be a tie-up for Japanese convenient store chain Circle K Sunkus. The song will be released as a digital download on May 18, 2011 to be followed by a physical release on June 8, 2011, therefore officially their first Japanese single. There will be an upcoming CM (commercial movie) for the tie-up that was filmed way back February 2011 and that the Japanese lyrics were recorded a month after, in March 2011. The single takes 2nd on Oricon chart on the first day of release. According to the Oricon Chart, Bonamana (美人) sold 27,168 units on its release day. In addition, Bonamana (美人) music video which is made of videos from ‘Super Junior 3rd Asia Tour Super Show 3 in Japan’ held at Yokohama Arena in February, received over 300,000 views on the Japanese UCC website ‘Nikoniko’ in a day.

The single was released in Japanese with an original Japanese music video on 4 April 2012. On the day of its release, it reached number two on Oricon Daily Chart with 42,114 copies sold. It debut at number two on Oricon Weekly Chart for the week of 2 to 8 April 2012 with 68,475 copies sold and number one on Tower Records' daily charts. The pair then held a fan meeting, Premium Mini Live Event, in support of the single on 11 April at Shibuya-AX, Tokyo.

5th Japanese Single: Opera

"Opera" is Super Junior's fifth Japanese single. It was released in 12 versions, a limited CD+DVD edition including a sticker, nine limited pressing editions, a regular CD Only edition, and a CD Only limited fan club edition only sold on mu-mo store including a 28page photobook. The limited pressing editions feature one different member per cover, and each one include a different puzzle piece of the member featured on the cover (pieces fit into each other to form a 9-piece puzzle). The regular CD Only edition would be only available once the limited pressing editions were sold out. The title track is a Japanese version of the song originally included on their fifth Korean album Mr. Simple.

The single reached #3 on the Oricon charts, and charted for 14 weeks.

5th Japanese Single: Sexy, Free & Single

On 29 June, during the press conference at the Mnet 20's Choice Awards members of the group confirmed that they have recorded the Japanese version of title track, "Sexy, Free & Single", and an original Japanese MV, as well as other tracks. However there are still no plans to conduct any promotional activities in Japan. The track was release on 22 August 2012 as their fourth Japanese single. On August 22, Super Junior officially released their fourth Japanese single “Sexy Free & Single“. After first day of sales, the single placed 2nd on the Oricon Daily Chart by selling 63,813 units and in the next day they placed 1st in Oricon Daily Chart.

The single was released as a "Winter concert memorial single", and the title track was first performed during their Japanese tour on November 15, 2012.

1st Japanese Album: Hero

After releasing a series of singles ("Bonamana", "Mr. Simple", "Opera", "Sexy, Free & Single"), the group released their first Japanese album in July 24, 2013, coinciding their Super Show 5 in Tokyo that same week. Although the singles were not considered by their management label SM Entertainment as their official Japanese promotional efforts, all the singles sold favorably. Most were within top two of the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart and three were certified Gold by the RIAJ for selling over a hundred thousand copies in Japan. Most of their Japanese releases came out to conicide with their concert in the country that week.
The album's first disc comprises thirteen tracks (with one being a bonus track). The second disc contains Japanese versions of the group's subgroup singles and its b-sides, and the DVD contains music videos, behind-the-scenes of music video making, and live performances from their recent concert in Japan, specifically from a-nation and subgroup Super Junior K.R.Y. Special Winter Concert.

6th Japanese Single: Blue World
Release Date: 2013.12.11

It was announced on September 26, 2013, during the event E.L.F-JAPAN FESTIVAL 2013 that Super Junior would be releasing their fifth official japanese single, "Blue World", on December 2013. The song will be the first original Japanese release by the group. It was later revealed on October 23 the single was set for December 11, containing on the B-Side another song named "Candy". The single was released in three different editions: CD-only, 2CD+DVD and E.L.F JAPAN version.

On November 8, 2013, Avex released a highlight medley of the upcoming single through Youtube with a preview of both songs and revealed the different covers from each edition of the single. This will be the first song of the group involving Heechul after he came back from the military service.

[Donghae & Eunhyuk] 1st Japanese Album: Ride Me
Release Date: 2014.02.26

Donghae & Eunhyuk revealed during Super Show 5 in Osaka that they would release their first album, followed by their first tour, in Japan. Their first album, Ride Me was released on February 26, 2014. "Motorcycle" was the lead single of the album. The short version music video was released through Avex's Youtube channel on February 2. The song became the main theme of the Japanese TV show, 'Sukkiri'.
